Catholic Charities in the archdiocese invites all to experience Lent in concrete ways by: Attending a program tour to witness firsthand Catholic Charities’ impact in the community; sharing your time by volunteering; making a difference by donating to those in need.

“During Lent, we are asked to share our world equally, by growing in awareness about community needs and sharing our time, talent and treasure with those in need,” said Jane Ferguson Flout, director of Community and Parish Engagement for Catholic Charities.

Catholic Charities programs and services help the most vulnerable families in San Francisco, Marin and San Mateo Counties, by preventing homelessness, providing permanent housing and health stabilization, providing counseling, helping seniors age with dignity, giving children and youth the chance to have healthy futures, and welcoming newcomers with respect and dignity.
