19 Parham MUGDaughter of Charity Sister Elizabeth Parham died June 13 at her community’s Seton Residence in Evansville, Indiana. Sister Elizabeth was a Daughter of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul for 64 years and was 87 years old.

Sister Elizabeth held undergraduate and graduate degrees in dietetics as well as a graduate degree in hospital administration.

Sister Elizabeth’s service in the Archdiocese of San Francisco included several posts at Seton Medical Center in Daly City when it was known as Mary’s Help Hospital and after as late as 2008 as a patient visitor to the Daughters of Charity residence there. She also served for 15 years in executive positions with Seton’s Diversified Subsidiaries and as CEO of its Kennedy Health Services Foundation. She retired to a ministry of prayer at the residence in Indiana in 2010.

A funeral Mass was celebrated June 16 at Seton Chapel in Evansville with interment in Calvary Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee, Sister Elizabeth’s home state.
