The large volume of the opposition to Archbishop Cordileone’s removing of ambiguities in our Catholic high school policies by teachers and students clearly proves the desperate need for his actions. After all, how effectively can a teacher teach the truth if he or she doesn’t believe it? And, while teaching by example can be very effective, a negative example is equally destructive.
