Clergy appointments update

In early July, additional clergy appointments in the Archdiocese of San Francisco were announced. This list supplements information in an earlier story in the June 12 issue of Catholic San Francisco.

 

Pastors reappointed to six-year terms included Father Lawrence Goode, St. Francis of Assisi Parish, East Palo Alto; Father Agnel De Heredia, All Souls Parish, South San Francisco; Msgr. Labib Kobti, St. Thomas More Parish, San Francisco; and Msgr. Steven Otellini, Church of the Nativity, Menlo Park.

 

Named to continue as pastor were Father William Brady, St. Emydius Parish, San Francisco; Father Piers Lahey, Church of the Good Shepherd, Pacifica; Father Domingo Orimaco, Our Lady of the Pillar Parish, Half Moon Bay; Msgr. Jose Rodriguez, St. John the Evangelist Parish, San Francisco; Father Paul Rossi, St. Raphael Parish, San Rafael; Father James Tarantino, St. Hilary Parish, Tiburon; and Father Joseph Walsh, St. Stephen Parish, San Francisco.

 

Additional priests assigned to parishes as parochial vicars included Father Gary Cappleman, O.P., St. Dominic Parish, San Francisco; Father Joseph Glynn, C.S.Sp., St. Dunstan Parish, Millbrae; Father Dominic Savio Lee, St. Matthew Parish, San Mateo; Father Armando Lopez, O.F.M., St. Boniface Parish, San Francisco; Father Jose Lucero, S.D.B., St. Boniface Parish, San Francisco.

 

Parochial vicar assignments for the three priests of the Archdiocese of San Francisco who were ordained in June were as follows: Father Joseph Previtali, St. Veronica Parish, San Francisco (for summer); Father Michael Quinn, St. Brendan Parish, San Francisco; and Father William Thornton, St. Anthony of Padua Parish, Novato.
