Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl: A Lenten faith-in-action program ideal for families and faith communities to do together, with daily prayer, fasting and almsgiving in solidarity with those in need. National Shrine of St. Francis: Liturgies, sacraments and devotion every Friday in Lent (except Good Friday), 610 Vallejo St., San Francisco.
